Popular model making sessions are back on Saturday 15 and Thursday 20 Feb . As a new holiday attraction those days the team from the Museum will also be giving visitors the rare opportunity to find out more about some of the objects in the Museum’s handling collection.
On Tuesday 18 Feb, the Museum turns its attention to all things puzzle related, when visitors can see a fabulous collection of jigsaw puzzles and trace their history from their origins in the mid-18th century, right up to present day. Visitors will be able to watch footage of how puzzles are made and have a go at assembling some of the puzzles themselves.
On Wednesday 19 Feb, visitors can meet the team from Wessex Archaeology and explore the wreck of a 1940’s aircraft using VR Headsets.
